Jessica’s story is one that will resonate with so many women, and will have you praising the Lord by the end of this episode.
As a writer, Youtuber, and speaker, Jessica’s story is one that is filled with the world selling her lies of satisfaction. After growing up only seeing broken relationships, they led to diminishing self-worth and distrust in relationships. Jessica then experienced loss which spurred her even more to pursue what the world would describe as “having it all”. Years of worldly living left Jessica feeling unsatisfied and searching. She ended up finding the love of the Lord through the love of her other people who love the Lord.
Jessica speaks on the fact that once she began to share her story with a Godly community, she was never met with hostility after being vulnerable. After coming to know the Lord and being redeemed through His grace, she could almost physically feel the peace of the Lord breaking chains in her life. She was revealed God’s character. We discuss that the world promises that certain things will bring freedom in life but that aren’t true.
We discuss redemption and forgiveness in such real ways. Your sin is in your life to better understand Christ as our Savior. Your ability to sin is not greater that the Lord’s ability to save!
We discuss relationships and lessons learned through dating, breakups, and purity. Jessica emphasizes many lessons learned through ungodly and Godly dating. Dating should be an addition to what the Lord is doing in your heart and life already. It shouldn’t deter you. She truly learned about purity and saw the disconnect between what the world has to offer and what Jesus had to offer.
This episode will change you. It will make you remember who Jesus truly is and remind you why you follow Him. Take a listen today!
